Covid-19 Fundraising Campaign
As with so many other non-profit organizations, the pandemic has dramatically reduced our ability to pay the bills. With the help of our dedicated volunteers, instructors and generous benefactors we are hobbling along, but without your help we may not have enough money to smoothly go back to normal.
Usually, we would list a number of specific improvements to fund. But, honestly, we can use your help to just keep the rent and utilities paid. Our landlord has kindly helped us out a bit with that -- but as time goes on he needs to meet his financial obligations as well. Our goal is to secure three months of rent -- $18,000.
Chimera Arts is a member supported, non-profit community maker-space located in Sebastopol, CA. We have offered training, tools and services to our community for several years now. We’ve helped people start their small businesses, build personal projects, learn about modern fabrication techniques, and even fix their broken appliances – just to name a few. As with most non-profits, we rely on the generosity of our friends and community to keep the doors open. In this challenging time, please consider making a donation to our organization.

How our crowdfunding works: your contributions immediately go towards our needs and are not eaten up by crowdfunding fees or withheld until campaign completion.

About Chimera Arts: Chimera Arts is Sonoma County’s first non-profit community arts and maker-space, located in downtown Sebastopol at the old Ford Garage building. We’re a community of makers, artists, and engineers who love to share, learn and work together. We offer tools and instruction for woodworking, jewelry making, welding, electronics, and modern personal manufacturing and prototyping technologies such as laser cutting, 3d printing and CNC machining.
Chimera Arts is located in a 3,000 square foot facility with 4,000 square feet of exterior space at 6791 Sebastopol Ave. Suite #180 in downtown Sebastopol, CA.
