What you’ll learn:

This is an all day class (10am to ~5pm) where we will start with an intro to Fusion 360 and basic drawing operations. We will then learn about dimensions and constraints and then lead into using variables to do parametric design. Then, we will do an introduction to Fusion 360's CAM (Machining) functionality to create tool paths (GCode) for our 4'x4' CNC router table. Then we will move over to the router and learn the fundamentals of CNC routing and we will end with cutting out our custom designed coat hooks which everyone will be able to take home one or more!

You will walk away with your own designed CNC cut wooden coat hangers that you can use in your home or office. You'll also leave with a good basic understanding of using the excellent Fusion 360 3D modeling software from AutoDesk and the fundamentals of how CNC machining works.

Fusion 360 can be used for CNC machining, 3D printing, laser cutting and a lot more. It is a great tool to have in your maker tool belt!
