2 Day Class, Mar 2nd-3rd 9:30-4:30 PM

Learn the fundamentals of jewelry making!

In this class, we will be covering beginning metalsmithing techniques such as sawing, filing, forming, texturing, soldering, and finishing. Sweat soldering and how to make your own jump rings will also be covered. The class will also guide students through the beginnings of ring and/or pendant creation.  This is a beginner class, for those with little or no experience or for those who need to brush up on their jewelry making skills. This class is open to the public.

$15 material fee is payable by cash or check, to the instructor the day of class.

WHAT TO BRING

-$15 material fee is payable by cash or check, to the instructor the day of class.

-Bring your waxes and molds from the mold making class

-We recommend wearing an apron or clothes you don’t mind getting dirty

-If you have scrap metal you’d like to use for your casting, bring it. Depending on -the size of your casting we may not be able to use it, but come prepared to get the most out of your scrap,

-Snack and water
